Being a kook means different things to different people. It is likely however, that every surfer has either been called a kook or has called another surfer a kook.

This is a kook’s journal. Written and maintained by Jerry Otero (aka Mista Oh!), it’s about his summers surfing & biking in Long Beach, NY., and beyond.

It’s also about finding love at 50, always being a beginner – learning and living the etiquette of the line-up.
